Jody and Steve's Wedding

I haven't posted on Jody's wedding because I really didn't have any pictures. I don't know why I didn't take any. I think I was just trying to take care of everyone else. So thanks to my mother in law Lorraine for the pictures.
The day started with me weighing in at my goal weight that I wanted to be for her wedding. Whew!! That was close. Then Shea and I headed over to a salon where Jody my mom and the bridesmaids were. I got my makeup done but did my own hair. I probably would never have someone do my makeup again. The girl really didn't do a good job. Laura help me fix it at the zoo.
So we then headed to the zoo and got ready in Ruby's house. I did Shea's hair and my nieces Madi and Ellie's hair. I love doing up do's. I am limited at what I can do but if anyone needs a flower girl, graduation or prom hair do I will do it for free!! Just call!

So we got beautified and took some pictures then headed down in a golf cart to the ceremony. Jody got married under a white tent. It was suppose to rain that day. It didn't end up raining until 10:30 when we started to clean up.

The ceremony was beautiful. Jody and my dad came in on a horse and carriage. It looked like it was from New York. My uncle who is a bishop got permission to marry her. He talked allot about the family and how marriage is ordained of god. Shea and Lacey were flower girls and Carson the ring bearer. I got the flower girl's dresses from Kohls and Lacey's from My Fair World on Etsy.com. Yes, Lacey's dress cost more than Shea's but was so worth it! Carson walked down the isle with no ring. He stood at the front with me during the ceremony but as Jody and Steve were saying there vows Carson ran back down the isle to Matt.

The reception was fun with dinner and dancing. The food was so good! We had a great time and I think Jody is relieved to have it over. I enjoyed planning the wedding with her and I am so happy she found her prince charming.

My friend with took Jody's pictures. You can find more pictures on her blog at www.photojenicblog.net

Flower girls: Shea, Ellie and Madi. I had fun doing their hair!

Gorgeous Laura

Shea loved dancing on the dance floor. She was cold and put her pants on. I made her take them off. hehe

Lacey stayed on the dance floor all night. She loved the DJ's light shows.

I just love his smile!

Notice my Zebra shoes! My feet are still paying for them. My balls of my feet and toes still go numb every once in a while!
